Food Distribution Programs
- USDA Foods have been utilized for congregate feeding on the Oglala Sioux Reservation at Pine Ridge/Wanblee.
- On April 5, FNS approved a disaster household distribution program for the Pine Ridge/Oglala Sioux Tribe for USDA Foods distributed to approximately 60 tribal households from March 26-29, 2019. Packages contained from 11-14 pounds of USDA Foods.
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Programs (SNAP)
State agencies are responsible for requesting and operating the Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (D-SNAP).
