The Learning and Development Branch is responsible for the oversight of FNCS University, FNS' premier source of continual learning. LBD manages a wide array of employee training and development programs. LDB is supported by a cross-function group called the National Employee Development Team, responsible for assessing training needs and overseeing training programs across the organization.
Policy and Worklife Programs Branch
The Policy and Worklife Programs Branch (PEMB) is responsible for the oversight and development of all Human Resources policies, procedures, instructions and notices. PEMB manages the SES program at FNS, and oversees a number of other HR programs including: Recruitment, Student Internship Programs, the Employee Assistance Program, Telework, and Transit Subsidy.
