Comment Request - Special Nutrition Programs Quick Response Surveys

 This is a new generic clearance that will allow the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) to quickly collect and analyze specific information from State and local administrators of the Special Nutrition Programs (SNP), including the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children, National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, Summer Food Service Program, the Child and Adult Care Food Program, Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program, Food Distribution on Indian Reservation, Commodity Supplemental Food Program, and the Emergency Food Assistance Program.

Comment Request - Community Eligibility Provision Characteristics Study (CEP)

The CEP Characteristics Study will include surveys of nationally representative samples of participating and eligible non-participating LEAs to obtain updated information on the characteristics of participating and non-participating districts and schools. It will also examine CEP impacts on student participation and per meal revenue.

Comment Request - Follow Up to An Assessment of the Roles and Effectiveness of Community-based Organizations in SNAP

The authority for this collection is provided for in the Child Nutrition Act of 1966. As required, FNS issued regulations which prescribes the methods for making payments of funds to state agencies to use for administrative expenses incurred in supervising and giving technical assistance in connection with activities undertaken by them under the National School Lunch Program, the Special Milk Program, the School Breakfast Program, the Child and Adult Care Food Program  and the Food Distribution Program.

This collection is an extension, without change, of a currently approved collection for maintaining the National Disqualified List of institutions, day care home providers, and individuals that have been terminated or otherwise disqualified from Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) participation.

Comment Request - Study of Nutrition and Activity in Child Care Settings

This study will collect a broad range of data from a nationally representative sample of sponsors, directors, food preparers and/or provider staff of childcare centers, family day care home and after-school programs that participate in CACFP and those that do not participate in the program, and from the children and parents of children receiving care from CACFP childcare centers, family day care homes, and after-school programs during 2015-2016.
